I 've had this idea for a while. Kerry was the perfect model. Richard Stalberg took these photos. Crystal helped retouch them, and make them exactly the way I imagined. I am proud to show them off!
Head shots are always fun because we are creating a marketable image. These photos were taken by Crystal Collins, the shots are of Corrin. She is a professional poker player.
Her skin was glowing!!! I used corner lashes to add shape and lift her eye. Every bride wants to have this glow. The trick is to apply a bit of shimmer-not too much, otherwise the skin looks oily. She looks amazing in these snapshots. I wish I could get my hands on the Pro-pix. to share!
You can't tell form these graceful pictures that it was 115 degrees outside. I had to take the weather into account when doing this bride's make-up. Color tends to slip in heat.
I have been in the world of make-up professionally for 10 years. I have trained beauty specialists all over Northern California. I received some of my cosmetic education working with a world wide brand. I now freelance.
I have always had a passion for art, and find a canvas on the skin.
I enjoy every moment of my profession. I love being part of my bride’s experience, as she prepares for her once in a lifetime event. I love taking the lead as my clients prepare for headshots- I know what to do to create a flawless look in front of a camera. My favorite moments are those where I can expand my creativity and push the limits with design and color. My most grateful thoughts are the ones when I see my clients my clients reflect in the mirror, in awe of their own beauty.
